mr. mail

Each month, mr. mail sends a piece of creative mail into the world. Sometimes it is a print, sometimes a postcard, sometimes a prompt or another small surprise. The format may change, but the goal stays the same: to create a small moment of curiosity in someone’s mailbox.

mr. mail began as an experiment in slow communication and mail art. In a world where most messages arrive instantly on a screen, there is something special about receiving something physical that traveled through the post.

Every envelope is created and assembled by hand.

mr. mail is created by Carol, an artist and collector of small things sent through the post. The project grew out of a love for letters, printmaking, and the quiet surprise of finding something unexpected in the mailbox.
